Sam Wu

Research Associate

I was born in Fuzhou, China and moved to the U.S. when I was 10. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. During my 3 years there I majored in Pharmacology, helped teach a genetics class, and mentored freshmen biology students. Right after my graduation in June 2024, I joined the Pharmacology department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor to get my Master’s degree in Pharmacology. My research interests are the pharmacological basis of exercise and bodybuilding, as well as finding new ways to solve the opioid crisis.
